Water Taxi of the week – Tropic Cat

The Tropic Cat is a composite construction catamaran or twin hulled vessel. She was built at Corinthian Catamarans  in Tarpon Springs, Florida. At this time, the Tropic Cat is the only vessel in the Water Taxi fleet to be powered by outboard engines. The two, 225 hp, 4 stroke outboard engines have improved fuel economy and emissions when compared to older 2 stroke outboard engines. The Catamaran hulls are also very efficient and provide a huge flat deck on which to install the control console and the guest seating. This vessel is excellent for charters of up to 49 guests providing a tremendous amount of space for each guest to spread out.
